Editing

The edit stage was quite tricky in order to achieve the basic principals of everyday trailers. For example what happens in usual trailer is the audio from the previous clip is usually continued on to the next clip, to highlight what the person is talking about. I did the with mine s you can see n the picture. I decided to detach the audio from the entire clip and then proceed to delete a certain amount from the end so it continued on to explain. This is seen mainly when the psychiatrist is saying how he is living in a fantasy world and the next shot is of him running topless. Another great example is in the picture below where i, kept referring back to the audience as my main villain entered the room his footsteps continued over the next clip, as if the audience was watching him, but in filming both parts were filmed completely separately.
I also had a couple of problems concerning the audio which covered the entire clip, as it went on for too long and did not end at the precise moment that i needed it to end to give it a sort of cliff hanger ending. So i decided to use clip trimmer in
order shorten the song to the exact time when it needed to stop. Another problem was not being able to hear main characters as the audio was to loud. So by being able to use audio adjustments i could ever so slightly drop the sound at points where the character should be herd on a better scale.
Also from this picture above it is evident that many shots were not included in the main product. Mainly because it went on too long and the average trailer lasts for 2.30 minutes. Also some of the shots were of a low quality with either shaky camera angles, poor lighting and acting. Sacrifices had to be made with  a lot of my shots but all ending with a good cause.
